1. About Us

Cat Habitat Pty Ltd (ABN 66 692 326 588) (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides cat enclosure and cat netting installation services across Australia.

2. Quotes & Pricing

  • Online quotes are provided free of charge based on information supplied by the customer.
  • In-person site quotes incur a $99 non-refundable fee, which will be deducted from the final invoice if you proceed.
  • Quotes are valid for 3 months from the date issued.
  • Quotes are based on information available at the time. If site conditions, measurements, materials, or scope change, pricing may be adjusted.

3. Measurements & Site Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring any measurements, photos, plans, or site details they provide are accurate.

If incorrect or incomplete information significantly impacts materials, labour, or design:

  • the quote may be revised, and
  • additional costs may apply.

4. Booking & Deposits

  • A 30% deposit is required to secure a booking.
  • Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit is received.
  • Remaining balances are payable in accordance with your invoice or agreed payment schedule.

5. Payment Plans

  • We may offer payment plans via a third-party provider.
  • Payment plans are subject to the third party’s approval, terms, and conditions.
  • Cat Habitat is not responsible for the administration, approval, or enforcement of third-party payment plans.
  • Failure to meet payment obligations may result in suspension or cancellation of services.

6. Installation Services

Our services include the supply and installation of cat enclosures and cat netting systems.

We are not responsible for:

  • The structural integrity or condition of customer buildings, fences, walls, or structures.
  • Damage caused by underlying structures, soil movement, weather events, trees, falling branches, animals, or external forces.
  • Damage caused by third-party trades or installers engaged by the customer.
  • Cat behaviour, escape, or injury resulting from misuse, modification, or failure to maintain the enclosure.
  • Damage caused by customers modifying or interfering with installed materials.

Customers must notify us of:

  • underground services
  • easements
  • council or strata restrictions

prior to installation.

7. Variations & Changes

  • Any changes requested after booking may:
  • require a revised quote, and
  • impact timelines.

Variations must be approved in writing.

8. Cancellations

  • Deposits are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.
  • Cancellation within a short timeframe of the scheduled installation may incur additional costs to cover materials or labour already allocated.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including designs, images, text, logos, and branding, is owned by Cat Habitat Pty Ltd and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without written permission.

10. User Content

By submitting reviews, photos, testimonials, or other content, you grant Cat Habitat a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use this content for marketing and promotional purposes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
  • Our liability is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the amount paid for the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
